This strawberry peach spritzer is fruity, fizzy, and ready in five minutes. Just blend fresh strawberries and peaches, pour over ice, and finish with bubbly sparkling water. It’s the kind of drink that turns a hot afternoon into a tiny celebration.
1cupsliced ripe peachesabout 2 medium, without skin if preferred, chopped
1-2tablespoonsyour favorite sweetenermaple syrup, brown sugar, agave, etc.
1cupseltzer or tonic wateryour choice of flavor, though lime works well
Instructions
Wash, dry, and chop up the fruit.
Add fruit to the blender, with the strawberries near the blade so that the mixture will blend more easily.
Add your sweetener, cover, and blend for 30 seconds to a minute until your fruit mixture is completely smooth.
Pour the mixture evenly over 2 glasses. Fill each glass the rest of the way with seltzer water.
If you have any leftover fruit, slice and place on the side of the glasses as a garnish. You can even add a cute paper umbrella or glass straw if you’d like. Enjoy!
Notes
For the best strawberry peach spritzer, use ripe, in-season fruit—early summer is ideal.
Adjust sweetness to taste. Add more sweetener if your fruit isn’t very ripe, or skip it if the fruit is naturally sweet.
Leftovers can be stored in a sealed jar or bottle in the fridge for up to 2 days. The fizz will fade, so fresh is best.
For longer-lasting bubbles, store the blended fruit and seltzer separately and mix just before serving.
Freeze extra spritzer in ice cube trays—add to sparkling water for a quick flavor boost later.
If you prefer a smoother drink, strain the fruit mixture through a fine mesh sieve before serving.
Not into seltzer? Serve the blended fruit on its own or mix with lemonade or lemon-lime soda (skip the extra sweetener if using soda).
This spritzer makes a fun brunch drink—try serving it with salty popcorn for a sweet-savory combo.
