This vegan gravy recipe is simple to pull together and delicious atop mashed potatoes and vegan turkey for Thanksgiving! It’s made without any mushrooms using ingredients you likely already have in your kitchen. Enjoy!
- ½ cup of flour
- ¼ cup of nutritional yeast
- 1 tablespoon of garlic powder
- 3 tablespoons of soy sauce
- 2 cups of vegetable broth
- salt and pepper to taste
This gravy will thicken even more as it cools. To create a thinner gravy, add more vegetable broth a little at a time, whisking over heat until combined.
If your gravy isn’t perfectly smooth at the end, use an immersion blender to puree and smooth the gravy.
