Taco “Meat” Filling

  • ¼ cup water
  • 1 package (11 oz.) of ground beef alternative
  • 2 tablespoons of olive oil

Taco Seasoning (Dry)

  • ¼ teaspoon of onion powder
  • ½ teaspoon of garlic powder
  • ½ teaspoon of red pepper fakes
  • ½ teaspoon of paprika
  • ½ teaspoon of sea salt
  • ½ teaspoon of black pepper
  • ½ teaspoon of oregano
  • 1½ teaspoon of chili powder
  • 1½ teaspoon of cumin


  1. Add the olive oil and 1 package of vegan ground meat alternative to a saucepan on medium heat.
  2. Use a spatula to gently break apart the crumbles to heat evenly.
  3. Add the taco seasoning to the saucepan.
  4. Stir in the water until the taco seasoning is distributed evenly.
  5. Heat until most of the water has cooked off.
  6. Set to low heat until ready to serve.


  • The dry taco seasoning can be prepped ahead of time and stored in an airtight container.
