We’re thrilled to share our newest endeavor, a vegan podcast: The Plant-Powered People Podcast!
In this show your podcast hosts Toni Okamoto (founder of Plant Based on a Budget) and Michelle Cehn (founder here at World of Vegan) are bringing uncensored conversations with everyday people who are embracing a plant-powered life right to your headphones.
Whether you turn to podcasts on your morning drive to work, while you’re cleaning the house, or while you’re kicking back and taking a bath, our hope is that this podcast will empower you, inspire you, and entertain you as you hear from plant-strong folks who face all sorts of different personal struggles and share how they overcome them.

What’s it like to be the only herbivore in the family? How can you handle raising a plant-based kiddo in today’s world? How can one dip their toes into healthier eating by, for instance, being a “Weekday Vegan?”
Toni and Michelle will cover it all by bringing diverse personalities from all walks of life on the show. It’s a judgment-free zone with candid conversations and they’ll be digging deep.
The show is launching with three episodes, with new episodes coming every other week. You can find it on iTunes, Spotify, or wherever you consume your podcasts. We hope you’ll subscribe, listen, and maybe even leave a review on iTunes (that would make us squeal BIG time).
The season will kick off with Meagan Duhamel, a vegan figure skater who brought home a gold medal from the Olympics, and Crystal Young, a young professional who is just dipping her toes into the vegan lifestyle as a “Weekday Vegan.” Hope you love it!
